Company Overview
The Center for Futures Education, Inc. is a "C"
corporation, incorporated under the laws of the State of Iowa, with
its principal offices in Grove City, Pennsylvania. From 1981 until
1983, the Center was a nonprofit 501(c)(3) school. In 1983, the
Center made the transition into a for-profit educational publishing
company while located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In 1986, the Center
moved to Spring Mills, Pennsylvania, and in 1990, to our current
location in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
The Center for Futures Education has been working with and training
futures brokers since 1981. It has developed home study courses for
futures professionals, including Series 3, Series 30, and Series 31
training. The Center's Futures Broker Home Study Course is the most
widely used Series 3 preparatory home study course in the futures
industry. It has been used by companies such as Merrill Lynch, Smith
Barney, Dean Witter Futures, and PaineWebber, to name a few. The Center
is an independent educational services firm specializing in teaching
and publishing material for the futures industry. Workshops and home
study courses are available for complete broker training. The Center
is not in competition with brokerage firms, but acts in a support
capacity for the futures and securities industries by furnishing quality
educational materials, classes, and seminars.
The Center has expanded beyond the world of futures under the name
Center for Financial Education. It has developed home study
courses for securities professionals including study material for
the Series 6, Series 7, Series 24, Series 26, Series 63, Series
65, and Series 66 examinations. The Center's Series 7 and other
securities courses are used by various exam preparation institutes.
